Upload and file documents
Keep warranties, manuals, receipts and school papers together, with reminders before they run out.
During the beta
Documents are not open during the beta, because the beta takes no uploads. Grown-ups who open Documents see a preview with a made-up family’s paperwork, so you can see how it will work. Nothing you press there is uploaded or saved. This article describes how documents work when they open.
Add a document
- Open Documents from More.
- Tap Upload a file to add a PDF or a photo, or Scan pages to photograph paper pages into one PDF.
- Tap the document’s details to give it a name, a type, who can see it, and the date it Expires or renews on.
A file can be up to 25 MB: PDF, JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, GIF, plain text or CSV. A scan can have up to 30 pages.
File them
Tap File these documents to make categories, such as Warranties, Insurance or Tax, and add tags to find things later. Ourstead reminds you before a document with an expiry date runs out.
