Inventory: what you own and where it is kept
Write down what you have, where it lives, what it would cost to replace and when its warranty ends.
During the beta
During the beta, Inventory works without photos: adding photos, scanning a warranty card and insurance reports arrive after the beta.
Add a thing
- Open Inventory from More and tap Add a thing.
- Enter What is it, Where it lives and How many.
- Tap Add purchase, warranty or model details for the maker, serial number, what it cost, what it is Worth to replace and when the warranty ends.
- Tap Add it.
Places inside places
Tap Places to set up where things are kept, one inside another: the garage, the red toolbox in it, the top drawer of that. Searching for any of those words finds what is filed there.
Find something
Search for a word, such as “hammer” or “passport”, or choose a place to see everything in it. The list shows roughly what everything shown would cost to replace.
