Share a document with a child
Let a child see one document, such as a school schedule, without opening the rest of the family’s papers.
During the beta
Documents are not open during the beta, because the beta takes no uploads. Grown-ups who open Documents see a preview with a made-up family’s paperwork, so you can see how it will work. Nothing you press there is uploaded or saved. This article describes how documents work when they open.
Share it
- Open the document’s details.
- Make sure Who can see it is The whole household.
- Under Share with a child, tick the children who should see it, and save.
The document is marked “Shared with” and their names. The child finds it under Shared with you, in Documents.
