During the beta
The budget, net worth and allowance are not open during the beta. Grown-ups who open Budget see a preview with invented numbers, and nothing in it is saved. This article describes how they work when they open.
Add what you own and owe
- Open Net worth from More.
- Tap New asset, choose its Kind, such as Property or Vehicle, and enter what it is worth now.
- Tap New debt for a mortgage, a car loan or a credit card, and link it to what it is against.
- Choose who may see each one: everyone in the household (grown-ups only), the people you pick, or just you.
Your budget accounts count in your net worth on their own.
Home and car values (Plus)
With Plus, tap Add your home and find its address, or Add a vehicle with its VIN, mileage and ZIP code, and Ourstead adds an estimate of its value. On a home you already added, tap Get an estimate; on a car, tap Get its value. An estimate changes your value only when you choose to use it. Each household can ask for 10 home and 10 vehicle estimates a month.
