How the household owner starts Plus, monthly or yearly, on the web or in the phone app.

During the beta
During the beta there is nothing to pay for or cancel. The Plus features that are ready are free for every household, marked “Plus · free in beta”, and Your plan says that subscription management is unavailable during this beta. As thanks for testing, households that join before launch keep Plus free for 3 months after Ourstead launches.
On the web
- The household owner opens Family & settings → Your plan.
- Choose monthly ($10) or yearly ($100), and tap Subscribe to Plus. When a free trial is offered, the button says so.
- Read the summary of what you will be charged and when, tick to agree, and tap Continue to payment.
- Enter your card on the payment provider’s page. Ourstead never sees your card number.
In the Android or iPhone app
When Plus can be bought in the phone apps, Google Play or the App Store handles the payment, using the account on your phone. A subscription bought there is managed there too.
