Add a recipe from a link

Paste the address of a recipe page and Ourstead reads the ingredients and steps for you to check.

Add it from a web page

1. Open Meals, go to the Recipes tab and tap Add recipe.
2. Choose Import from Website.
3. Paste the page’s address in Recipe URL and tap Read recipe.
4. Check what Ourstead found. Change anything that is wrong.
5. Tap Save recipe as written.

If a page has more than one recipe, Ourstead asks which to bring over. If reading takes a while, tap Keep going in the background, and the recipe waits on the Recipes tab for you to review.

Other ways to add a recipe

Paste a Recipe sorts copied recipe text into ingredients and steps. Enter Manually lets you type a recipe yourself. On Android, you can also share a recipe page to the Ourstead app.
